FAQs
What is ATG?
Ben Patrick’s ATG training (short for Athletic Truth Group) is a strength‑and‑mobility system built around the idea that you can bulletproof your knees and joints by training them through full ranges of motion—often including knees‑over‑toes positions that traditional fitness advice discouraged. His approach is designed to reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve athletic performance.
What do sessions include?
ATG isn’t random mobility work—it’s a system built around restoring full range of motion, strengthening connective tissue, and progressing people safely from “can’t do it yet” to “bulletproof.”
A strong ATG session usually includes five pillars:
1. Warm‑up that wakes up the feet, ankles, and tibialis
2. Backward movement
3. Primary strength movement (full‑range)
4. Accessory mobility + strength
5. Cool‑down / decompression
